The Waterfront Blues Festival is a cornerstone event of the Pacific Northwest, and one of the most dynamic music events in the world, hosting legendary performers and up-and-coming artists pushing the boundaries of blues, soul, funk, folk, R&B and more. This immersive and inclusive summer festival features 100+ performances on four stages across 8 acres of downtown Portland's beautiful waterfront, plus a huge dance floor, dedicated family areas, a marketplace of local vendors, ‘Blues Cruises’ on the Willamette River, and Oregon’s largest fireworks show for a can’t-miss Fourth of July weekend. Just celebrating 37 years, the Waterfront Blues Festival is a multigenerational celebration of music, culture, and community, and one of the country’s best fully independently-owned and operated music festivals.
Fuller Events plays a key role in producing the four-day music festival, which draws nearly 50,000 attendees to Waterfront Park. Our team oversees all on-site logistics, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional experience for guests. This includes managing vendor and contractor coordination, permitting, and infrastructure, as well as ticketing and gate management to ensure seamless entry for attendees. We handle OLCC-licensed alcohol service, merchandise sales, and the food and merchant vendor programs. Additionally, Fuller Events leads all sponsorship sales and activations while collaborating on talent programming, lineup curation, and marketing strategies. From big-picture planning to the smallest details, our expertise ensures the festival's success.
